President & CEO

One of the biggest challenges my clients face is growing their business without sacrificing personal time. I help them strategically manage their investment assets and employee benefits so they can focus their time where the payback is greatest - working on the business and spending quality time with family.

From the time he was a young boy, Rob was fascinated with business ownership and wanted to be an entrepreneur and investor.

He is our strategic thinker and in business most know him as focused and goal oriented with a splash of humour.  But if you ask his kids, they would describe him as totally silly and playful because when he’s not hugging the stuffing out of them, he’s usually trying to make them laugh.  Rob and his wife, Amber keep busy just running around being parents.  When its time for some R&R, Rob enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures and meeting new people.

In Rob’s own words, “I’m here to help you achieve and sustain financial success. And what I do is a part of who I am.  Providing advice that brings clarity, reassurance and confidence is the part of my work that I enjoy most.  I am very fortunate to say that a day at the office rarely feels like work.

Rob’s professional career commenced at Great-West Life in 1998 and now he now has over two decades of experience as a financial consultant, and a qualified GBA (Group Benefits Associate).  In 2004, he took a giant leap towards a major life goal and started Bayview Financial Group, to provide independent financial planning, wealth management, and employee benefits advice.

Whether it’s your business, your retirement or your legacy – Rob is the advisor you want on your team.  Don’t let the future happen to you, plan for it and enjoy the journey.

Rob is a member in good standing with Advocis: The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, The Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg, the Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute and the Canadian Group Insurance Brokers network.
